Fall 2008

Incoming 9th Grade Honors (Contemporary Literature Honors):

No required summer reading.

Incoming 10th Grade Honors:

You will need to have completed the reading of Harper Lee's TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD by the end of the 2nd week of school. We recommend that you get a head start on the rigor of this honors course, however, by reading TKAM over the summer and keeping a dialectical journal. The expectation is that you will complete one journal entry for every 10 pages.

Cornerstone Supply List

English Supplies:
One - 1.5 or 2 inch 3-ring binder with 5 dividers.
Essay pens: red, green, blue and black (no gel)
Pencils
Loose leaf paper
4 different colored highlighters
3x3 post-it notes
3x5 index cards
Math supplies:
3-ring binders with 3 dividers (1 inch wide)
pencils
book cover for new (expensive) text
Loose leaf paper
scientific calculator (Texas Instrument TI-30 or TI-34)
